NetCD is an audio CD console program that can connect to the Internet to download information about the currently playing CD from the CDDB™. It gives you complete control over CD playback and can also play digital audio files using Apple’s QuickTime™ technology.
NetCD’s interface is completely and easily customizable. NetCD can store disc information on the hard disk in the CD Remote Programs file, the same file used by Apple’s CD Remote and AppleCD Audio Player utilities. NetCD is OS 8 and OS 9 compatible, Appearance Manager compliant, supports AppleScript and Balloon Help, and works with both SCSI and IDE CD-ROM drives.
